What we do
Food Integrity Assurance (FIA) provides assessment and certification services on behalf of key clients, including Quality Meat Scotland, Scottish Quality Crops, Wildlife Estates Scotland, The Green Farm Collective and others, supporting well over 13,500 food production businesses throughout Scotland and the UK.
FIA supports all our clients with an efficiency focused service, enabling good communication links with the office and scheme members, adopting the use of new technologies to reduce the burden of certification whilst enhancing the integrity of the Schemes and Brands we support.
FIA is accredited to EC/ISO 17065 by UKAS to ensure that the assessment and certification processes are being managed and operated consistently, impartially and with experienced and proficient teams.

FIA is proud to support Quality Meat Scotland with a dedicated and seamless end to end membership renewal, assessment, and certification service across the full suite of QMS Assurance Schemes underpinning the integrity of the Scottish red meat industry’s premium brands: Scotch Beef, Scotch Lamb and Specially Selected Pork.
Scottish Quality Crops
Certification of Scottish Quality Crops
FIA has a unique collaborative partnership with Scottish Quality Crops as sole provider of end-to-end membership renewals and certification whilst also supporting the development of the SQC Scheme.
Through the adoption of technology, FIA and SQC are refining the assessment and certification process to the benefit of SQC members and the 90+% of Scottish cereal production area currently covered by the Scheme.

SQWV
Scottish Quality Wild Venison
Scottish Quality Wild Venison (SQWV) has appointed Food Integrity Assurance (FIA) to lead the assessment and certification of its Scottish Quality Wild Venison Scheme, starting January 1, 2025. Under this partnership, FIA will oversee the evaluation of stalking practices and carcass storage for scheme members, ensuring they meet the rigorous standards required for certification.
This partnership signals a milestone for the Scottish wild venison industry as it evolves to meet emerging demand whilst reinforcing its commitment to food safety, quality, sustainability, and consumer confidence.

FIA has proactively supported The Green Farm Collective with the development and delivery of a new Scheme and standards to recognise the collective membership’s commitment and demonstrate their true regenerative farming practices to obtain premium returns from the supply chain.
